This is getting frustrating.
Scenario - I have a number of 8k RED rushes that I need to create proxys for. They are a mixture of frame rates, so some come off the cards as video only files and others have the 4 channels of audio attached.
I was able to create proxys a couple of weeks ago for similar files - obviously had to use QT rather than H264, but now the feature just crashes ME everytime.
I'm running OS 13.2.1 (was getting the problem before updating - tried updating, fixed nothing)
And running latest versions of P Pro and ME.
I've also tried creating new presets, that are compatible with the correct frame size and audio channel requiements, the process of using ME for creation crashes the system. Otherwise, ME is working as normal, so normal exports are fine.
The next step for me will be to seperate all the different RED file types into groups and encode them manually...which will be time consuming and labourious.
Anybody got any ideas??
