Video markers do not function correctly when using speed ramps on a clip. To replicate this:

1. Add a marker to a video clip.

2. Toggle video effect to time remapping - speed

3. Create a speed ramp in the clip

4. The bug emerges: the video marker does not move along with the newly adjusted clip, and instead, stays static in the wrong location

Dont think this is a bug but rather by design.

Clip marker is set to the original footage.

A marker is connected to a specific point in time, i.e. the timecode of the actual marker. The marker is referencing something specific whether it be picture or sound. When a speed adjustment is created, that frame where the marker was on will have a new timecode, and should therefore move accordingly.

I'm with Dusty on this...  I did a music video many years ago in fcp7 and motion where we shot multiple performances of a string quintet and then keyframed certain moments to bring them into synch with the actual live performance with an audience.    Just added markers to the shots and to the actual performance and adjusted and keyframed playback speed to make it look perfectl..  Don't know how tf I'd do this now...
