Not sure why but using PR23.2 on my old Windows PC, never had this issue. After switching over to a new Build, the same OS but instead of using Home, I am using Pro, which shouldn't make a difference.

Now I am unable to save my button layout, it resets upon closing the application. Not only that, but it also crashes quite often. Not sure if this is a result of running PR on an NVMe drive, and the media files along with project files are on an alternative NVMe drive or what.

But most importantly, the layouts do not save. I'm confused ADOBE!! How're we having these crazy issues in 2023??

First, the program files should normally be on the C drive's Program File/Package Files location, and run from there. Otherwise Pr can get wonky. If you've got Pr installed on a different drive, that could be part of the issue right there.

I understand where you're coming from with that R. Neil, however - in my old computer setup I ran my project files on legacy 2.5 SSDs and never came across this issue. Why's it a problem now that I've merely switched hardware?

What happens next? Will Adobe ever address this issue, am I to download an older version?

It's been a problem for numerous users over the years here. May work for a while but eventually hits something weird.

As I found it so annoying, I am now editing with the beta.

Another reason for me to edit on the beta is corner pin.

Use it an awful lot, and in the beta its GPU accelerated.

For Windows-related users, not sure what happened, but without updating or downgrading to a later version - the problem fixed itself around the same time I fixed my RAM settings in BIOs for AMD Expo. Previously, I ran Intel XMP/DOCP on my AMD/Asus Mobo setup, which is when the problem happened.

As soon as I migrated over to RAM supported by my motherboard and fixed the settings within BIOs to run them at their factory settings, the problem was gone.

Sorry, I can't be exact with what transpired, but here's my testimony; hopefully, it serves you somehow. Here are my specs,

Windows 10 Pro 22H2
AMD Ryzen 7950X

Asus Strix X670E-E Gaming Wifi Motherboard

G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 128GBs DDR5 Ram clocked @ 4800mhz

Adobe still lists no known issues with 23.2
