When I click on a clip in my timeline, it only selects the portion I click on. I.e. I have a clip with 1 video and 2 audio channels, if I click on the video track, only the video and not the two audio channels are selected. If I click on audio track 1, only that track is selected. Anybody have a solution to this?

In the timeline panel, under the blue timecode text, there are a series of buttons that turn blue when you click them on.  The third button from the left is called "Linked Selection".  You can see the name if you hover your mouse over it.  Make sure that button is turned on.
