Copy and Paste Audio Attributes are not working as expected

I've run across an issue that popped up on the lastest version of PP that has me perplexed.  When I do the standard 'copy and paste' for audio attributers like I've done a million times beore, the audio effects copy, but the volume and keyframes do not copy (I have all the boxes checked in the attributes dialog box when I click on 'paste attributes').

Even stranger, if I uncheck the 'effects' box, the effects still copy to the segment.

I have re-set my preferences, I have have re-set workspaces, I have created new projects and nothing makes a difference.  The volume and audio keyframes don't copy and  the effects copy whether I want them to or not.

I've probably just clicked something somewhere that's created this problem, but I'm not seeing a solution anywhere.

Anyone have any thoughts as to what's going on?

Samezees!  In short, Paste Attributes for volume levels is not working at all, but the visual stuff like position and scale are pasting no problem.
