Custom Sequences Not Opening or Deleting After Update to v25.3.84

Explorer ,
Jun 18, 2025 Jun 18, 2025

After updating to Premiere Pro 2025 version 25.3.84, I can no longer open or delete sequences that I created and saved with a custom name (custom sequences).
Only the default system sequences still work as expected.
But when I create a new sequence, give it a name, and save it — I cannot open it afterward, and I also can't delete it.
This issue started right after the latest update.

My system configuration:
OS: Windows 11 Pro
CPU: Intel Core i9-9900K
RAM: 32 GB
GPU: MSI RTX 2060 Super
Project drive: Lexar NM620 2TB NVMe SSD
Premiere Pro version: 25.3.84

Please let me know if this is a known bug or if there’s any workaround. Thank you.

Hi @Videographer Suxrob
I assume you have already tried to make a new project correct? Do you see the same problem in a brand new project you create? Can you supply the team here at Adobe with a project file and a few of the sequences that will not rename for you? Feel free to DM me a link to any files you can share.

Unfortunately, that didn’t work for me — I had already tried that solution

Hi @Videographer Suxrob
Thank you for the reference clip. I see now that you can not open your presets built for sequence settings. What happens when you make a new sequence from a clip and alter the sequence settings afterwards? You might be able to copy all your profile settings folder from the last version you had them working in Premiere Pro and copy paste them into the latest version. Just follow the path to the user settings folder or the version they worked.

Users/ibrankin/Documents/Adobe/Premiere\ Pro/24.0/Profile-ib360
and then paste them into the version you have now.

First of all, I already tried the method you suggested, but unfortunately, it didn’t help.
I even deleted the folder at `C:\Users\HyperX\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\25.0\Profile-HyperX\` and restarted Premiere, but the result is still the same.

Premiere only opens the system default sequence presets or the ones created by dragging a clip to the timeline.
However, it still doesn’t open or delete custom sequence presets that were manually saved.

This issue seems to exist specifically in Premiere Pro CC 2025 v25.3.84.

(P.S. Sorry for any mistakes in my English — I'm not fluent in the language.)

I just discovered another issue: Premiere Pro 25.3 does not import the saved Workspaces layouts from the project — even when "Windows > Workspaces > Import Workspace from Projects" is enabled.

Why does Adobe release official updates without checking for such basic bugs? After all, this isn’t a beta version, right?

I just discovered another issue related to audio. Normally, I prefer to reduce audio clips to -96 dB instead of muting them completely. But now, even if I set the volume to -96 dB, the audio is still audible — although in the timeline, it looks like it’s muted.

Is this happening only to me, or is anyone else experiencing the same issue in version 25.3?
