Hello!

I have a trouble with premier pro. I export a video, and in the exported video there are some strange glitches and the footage freezes for 2-3 second at random places, but the audio goes on. After 2-3 seconds freezing the video chatches up with audio and goes on the playback. I searched for the answer at many forums, but i cant find the answer. Is there anyone who can help?

I have macbook pro 16 with m1 chip. The footage is 4K 25p MOV, the export is h.264 4k 25p.

I'm having the exact same issue when exporting long form content. Typically 1-3 hours in length.

Glitches are 3-10 seconds on my end. Video freezes and audio continues. Once video starts to play after 3-10 seconds, the audio it out of sync from the video.

Glitches occur when exporting 4k 29.97 H.264, M1 Ultra Mac Studio, 128gb Ram.

what are you using for playback?

if you import the exported clip and play it back inside Premiere Pro,

do the glitches persist over there? if no, this might be a player issue.

The final export glitches while playing back in Quicktime, just hitting spacebar, reimporting to Premiere Pro, and while previewing on YouTube after uploading.

Funny thing though, the glitch on YouTube is a little different than what I see on the exported file when previewing on my Mac Studio.

This seems to be a new bug with the latest Premiere Pro firmware. We have 3 other editors having the same problems on long form exports.

Unfortunately this is not a player issue, the problem exists in Quicktime player, in VLC, and in the uploaded files also (Google drive and youtube). If I playback in premier the program just not answering and stop working. I have no idea what is this, but its quiete frustrating.

are you exporting directly from Premiere or Media Encoder?

if on Media Encoder, are you on Software Only or GPU Acceleration?

Try switching to Software Only, or try to change the export format

to GoPro Cineform or ProRes 422

I have been using Media Encoder for exports. It defaults to GPU acceleration. I just switched to Software Only, and its giving me an export time of 2 hours for a 2 minute clip. Something isnt right....

When I switch back to GPU acceleration that same 2 minute clip exports in 60 seconds.
