New Here ,
May 04, 2025 May 04, 2025

So i am having problems with my video glitching in adobe premiere. Even before I export the completed video, there are glitches. I try to find solutions but nothing is working. Any advice to remove the glitches? I have attached a picture below of what the glitch looks on my end.

Thanks!

That typically is an indicator of issues with the GPU driver.

How would you fix the GPU driver?  Thanks 🙂

Which GPU do you have? Typically you go to the manufacturer site for a driver update.

I think he's on a mac.

We'd need more info on your machine, OS, etc and also on your media files.

Info needed for a bug / tech support

Hi!

Sorry about the issue. Could you share your current Premiere Pro version and let us know the source of your media files? Were they recorded on camera or downloaded online?

Thanks,

Ishan

Any chance you are doing optical flow interpretation in a speed change?

Do you have an Nvidia card? If you aren't on the latest driver version update that, get the latest "studio" version.

You can tell driver version by going to the Nvidia Control panel > "Help" menu at the top > System Information.

If you are already on the latest driver (currently 576.02), I would suggest trying to actually install the older previous driver version 572.83. It seems that 576.02 has had a lot of issues in general, though maybe not the cause of this. You can see the list of "Open Issues" for the current driver on their official forum post. They do have hotfix versions available but they haven't been fully validated apparently.

I had a similar issue with glitchy video for a particular clip myself. but none since rolling back to that older version. It could be a coincidence though. I'm waiting until they release the next version to update the driver again personally.

So i am posting this issue again, but to start off I am having problems with my video glitching in adobe premiere. Even before I export the completed video, there are glitches. I try to find solutions but nothing is working. Any advice to remove the glitches? I have attached a picture below of what the glitch looks on my end. The version I am currently using is Adobe Premiere Pro 25.0 Version. I am also editing on a mac OS 14.6.1 (23G93)

Thanks!

Hi Denver,

I read your note. Welcome to the forum. What kind of footage is this? Are any effects added to the clip? Let us know a bit more information about your Mac and the media you are using and I hope we can help you. Sorry for the frustration.

Thanks,
Kevin

OK, thanks. You can try a test by doing a render and replace for that clip to ProRes or ProRes LT. Then see if the "glitch" is still there. It may be media related.

Cheers,
Kevin
