New Here ,
Dec 01, 2025 Dec 01, 2025

Glitch appears on the preview and the export in Premiere Pro.
I used to launch Premiere Pro using Shift key to activate Mercury Playback Engine only, and the problem was solved. But since v25.4, it doesn't existe anymore. When the GPU is activated, there are some glitches on the preview, some lines with different colors. This lines appear in the export too.

SYSTEM: Windows
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT (version 25.11.1)
It affects every videos and pictures formats, and every projects.

Thanks for your help.
Vincent.

What kind of formats are your videos and pictures and what is their source? Have you been able to try ProRes files, or try transcoding the affected videos to ProRes?

Under Preferences > Media, do you see this happen if you disable hardware accelerated decoding? (You'll need to restart Premiere Pro)

LATEST

Hi @Dani_V.

I'm using the v25.3 of Premiere Pro because it's the last version with which I can run using the "Mercury Playback Engine only". In the latest versions, this feature has been deleted. When I use this feature, the problem doesn't appear. But I can't use the latest versions because of this problem.

It happens with every formats of videos and pictures, even with proxy files or After Effects files.

I tried to disable "Hardware accelerated decoding" but it didn't change anything.

Thanks for your answer.
Vincent.
