High-End Computer Previewing and Exporting Still Frames of Video

I have just recently acquired a new PC that is significantly more powerful than my old computer and for some reason I am encountering an issue where clips on my timeline are not previewing properly. I thought that maybe this issue would go away when I exported the video out but it persists in the exported video.

I have checked all of my source content and there is no issue. I have cleared my cache and attempted to re-render frames and still nothing. I am not sure what is going on and am wondering if maybe this is an issue with 25.3? Let me know if anyone else has encountered this issue...

Here is a picture of my timeline...

Hi @Chad32661899rv7t

Thanks for the post.  I'm glad you have a workaround for the moment, but of course, we want to ensure the latest version isn't causing issues.

Was this a project you transferred to the new system, or was it a fresh project? What type of media are you working with?  Can you give me more details about the new computer?
If you have time, please give the team a few more details.

Update on this situation. I actually reinstalled 25.2.3 and my playback works flawlessly... Really hoping this helps the team. 25.3 feels like it's been kind of a mess...

Hello. Here are the answers to your follow up questions:

  1. The project was freshly created using this version of premiere on the same computer that I encountered the issue with.
  2. I am using MP4 files shot in H.264 from a R5C. They are at 135 Megabits, with a color profile of 422 - 10bit. They are shot in C.Log3. A LUT was not applied to the clips when I encountered this issue.
  3.  Here is the spec sheet for the computer: Chad32661899rv7t_0-1751307506339.png

We are utilizing Windows 11 Education as our OS of choice. The project sits on a server that is located on our campus - We are accessing this via a wired network connection that pull speeds of about 250 Mb/s. I've never had issues accessing project files through our server before so I would rule that our as a potential problem.

When I reverted back to the original version, the playback not only started working once more, but seemed to be faster than this latest build. Part of me wonders if there is maybe an issue with the drivers on my graphics card.

It should be noted that the Nvidea RTX 5080 my system is using is not running the "Game Ready" drivers, but rather the "Studio Ready" drivers that imply better performance with these higher weighted video files.

Let me know if you need additional information!
