Import broken after 2025 update

1. Drag and drop is broken after 2025 (25.0.0) update.

2. Windows 11

3. After updating to the latest version, I can't drag and drop any media into the project window. I can only import by using the right click + import option. Although even this doesn't work with After Effects files. The only way to import AE files is through the Dynamic Link menu option.

4. Expected result: Same functionalilty as every previous version.

Hi,

It's working, as always, for me. I'm also on Windows 11 and Premiere 2025.

Did you try restarting Premiere or resetting Premiere preferences?

New 2025 update. When I move a project on an SSD to another machine, it hangs on opening if it can't find the media. Instead of the usual prompt to relink missing files upon opening, I have to cancel the process and manually relink from the project tab. This is a new issue affecting two separate projects on different SSDs, despite frequently working between two computers without any previous problems.

No, I experienced that mentioned issue some time ago—it was random but never appeared again in the latest versions of PP 2024. This new issue, however, happens specifically while opening a project, causing it to hang until you hit cancel and manually relink all the footage.
