'Insert and overwrite sequences as nests or individual clips' toggle button not working in v 24.2.1

I have literally spent hours trying to figure out what has happened here - when bringing my multi-cam clips into the timeline, I can no longer toggle the clip to drag it in as individual video clips. I have since read other people are having the same issue and having to revert back to v 23. This is an essential toggle button and it just doesn't work any more. Frustrating!

Hi @Dreamotion Studios,

This is due to a fairly recent change we implemented for Multi-Cams.  If you're in the mood for some light reading, you can read an in-depth conversation about it here.

In response to feedback from many users, we've restored this functionality via a sequence menu option which you can toggle on and off.  Please visit the correct answer here (part of the converastion above) for further details.  This updated functionality is currently available in Premiere Pro 24.2.1.
