I've been working in Premiere Pro for almost 8 years, but I'm now completely disappointed with Adobe's recent updates. There's too much lag, issues with importing footage, slow startup, and painfully slow preview rendering. It's been the worst experience lately.

I have a powerful system — GTX 4070 series GPU, 32GB RAM — and I use other demanding software like Blender and Unreal Engine without any problems. Yet, Premiere Pro continues to perform poorly. Because of this, I'm seriously considering switching to alternative editing software like DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro.

If we could offer any assistance with some of these recent frustrations, the team and I would be glad to help. I see the attached video showing the splash screen lag.
