Lumetri Color flickering on playback versus still

New Here ,
May 09, 2025 May 09, 2025

I'm getting weird jumps in color in the viewer window using Lumetri for color correction.  The difference happens when you look at the frame still, versus when it's playing.  The output seems to match the playback color, so the still frame is wrong.

The jump is subtle and mostly the blacks are going magenta in my particular footage.  Source clips are Prores 4444XQ 4K Quicktimes.

Hi @Timothy381150034v2l,

I'm sorry to hear you're having color issues. Could you send a video of the behavior you're seeing? Are you using adjustment layers?  Could you send shots of your sequences and color settings?  What camera did the ProRes come from, and how were they made?  Are they proxies?

If you have time, please give the team a few more details. See: How do I write a bug report?

I hope we can help you soon. Sorry for the pain points.

Those 4444 files ... past the very good questions in Rach's post ...

1) are they full or limited for range?

2) do they have alpha channels, and if so, are they pre-multiplied or not?
