My mouse disappears in Premiere CC

My mouse cursor keeps dissappearing as I work in premiere cc. It isnt the mouse as I tried several. I have to restart the project every few minutes. It seems to get worse with time. I am doing closed captioning so maybe that is part of it.

Anyone else have this issue?

Same here. Finally switched to PC from a mac pro 2013 because of its inability to upgrade video card and now Im finding mouse cursor on PC becomes invisible when changing layout on a double monitor setup. I’m using a wireless mouse so no plug or unplug possible. Totally not acceptable for a paid app. Bug fix please or I will have to switch back to 2013.

Still happening to me to. Some times when just starting a new project. It disappears only for PRP not for windows.

A lot of bugs in every last like 6 versions. It is very very bad indeed! Tried Davinci Resolve and was amazed how snappy and smooth it was (or disappointed that PRP is not at all as good - though I am stuck with PRP for a number of reasons). I have the ultimate workstation with the most expensive and up to date hardware. PRP won't deliver what I expect.

Don't have time to "bug report" every single thing I find malfunctioning in the software. I would not call PRP a professional software since there are simply too many minor things that is not working good enough.

Please please work on a fix for this, it's costing me hours of time and seems to have been an issue since 2014. Why does this bug still exit??

This happens to me constantly.
My system:
Win 10 Pro, up to date
i7-8700
32GB RAM
RTX-2070

There is a workaround which is to switch to some other application. It's clear that the mouse cursor acts BEHIND the Premiere window...can even see evidence of it as it rolls over elements in the Premiere application...but it's necessary to see the cursor and the app-switch is necessary. It's a productivity issue and needs to be addressed.

Seems to happen to me when I change layout. Late 2019 and still this problem persists (when people have been commenting on it for at least 2 years) !

Still happening in 2020. I found some posts relating this issue from... 2014 ! Adobe what are you doing ???
Don't you think correcting all these bugs are more urgent than the auto-reframe functions ?

Currently on CC 2020. My mouse cursor will disappear when switching between panels - usually the audio or graphics panels - and I have to restart Premiere to fix the problem. I've been seeing this issue come up quite a bit on other forums even before 2020, but for me it's only been happening since I updated to 2020.

Mouse disappears when changing from one panel to another. eg. graphics to editing etc. Nothing will bring it back. The program must be closed down and restarted.

I have the 2019 version, the latest one. In fact I didn't update to 2020 for fear of these frequent errors in the whole adobe package. My mouse disappears when I close the project to start a new one

A sysadmin came around yesterday and fixed our studio RAID that was 'very, very badly' fragmented. The network speed went up back to 10Gbps, and the disappearing mouse problem disappeared altogether. Same machine, drivers, adobe preferences, cache, same sequences and projects. If this helps anyone of you, dearest adobe users.

It seems to happen when I switch workspaces.

I need to close Premiere and relaunch to get my mouse cursor back.
