Nesting an edited Multicam sequence makes premiere unresponsive [Solution]

Premiere Pro becomes unresponsive if you nest a sequence that contains an edited multicam sequence (usually only applies to sequences over an hour long). I spent a long time trying to find a work around for this issue, and the solution I found is this:

 

Once you've made your edits to your multicam, select all cips, right click, go to: Multicam > Flatten

This will make the program responsive again, and if you need to edit the clips again, reverse the process and hit 'Eneble' to make the multicam editable again.

 

Hope this helps anyone who has ever expirenced the same issue I have.
