No playback when dragging clips between sequences.

I use the "pancake method" for editing.

On the 2023 release, I have had this issue with some clips when I will drag a clip that I have cut from my first sequence to the one below it and playback will not occur afterwards. I am able to cut, move clips, etc. but I cannot play the footage at all. In order to get playback again, I have to close and reopen Premiere. This will happen back to back with each clip.

I have cleared my cache to try and resolve the issue, but it persists.

The latest version in 2022 did not have this issue.

Photo attached to demonstrate the view of my sequences.

Hello @Max28310415wvu7,

Thanks for the message. Are you still having this issue? The team will need more info from you to reproduce the bug. Can you provide the information required here? How do I write a bug report?

I'll move your post to the Discussions board while we await your information.

Thanks,

Kevin
