Premiere 25.5 taking ages to export due to audio rendering of files outside of export selection

HI,

I'm exporting a 50 second section of my timeline and it says rendering 144 audio clips.  It also says 5 hours to export (this goes down eventually) but it still takes far too long to export and is the same bug we had a few versions ago.

Premiere 25.5 build 13

Apple M2 Max 96Gb RAM

Sonoma 14.7.3

This behavior has been going on for years.

Export a short in and outpount section of the timeline, Premiere or AME has to load all the audio files on the timelline first before it starts encoding.

Subsequence and then export might be a workaround?

Or try and ensure your audio is all 48K
