Premiere Pro 2025 Crashing when closing the Program (MacOS)

New Here ,
Sep 20, 2025 Sep 20, 2025

Premiere is crashing whenever i try to close the app, it doesn't matter the project i have open, big or small it always gets stuck and i have to force quit it everytime.

even trying to avoid the problem by closing the project first then the app, it still gets stuck.
im on a macbook pro 16-inch, Nov 2024 , M4 Pro, 24gb ram , sequoia 15.6.1, i was one 25.5 when i faced the problem, then tried downgrading to 25.4.1 to no avail.

i reset media cache, app preferences, restarted my mac, nothing solved it.

i'd attach the dmp file from my recent crash for more info, but it isn't supported.

Hi @Feras almalki -  Thanks for submitting your bug report. We need a few more details to try to help with the issue.

Do you receive a crash report dialog box?

Do you have any third party plugins or panels installed?

Sorry for the frustration.

Hey @jamieclarke, first of all sorry for the very late reply.

Second, I found a workaround but after time it became tiring. Basically I had to close the project and open another one just to be able to close it no problem. but now it dawned on me that it might mean the project itself is corruption-prone, which is a big concern for me as it's a big project with so many sequances and footage.

To add, sometimes exporting crashes and i have to re-export again.

And to answer your questions,
1. Yes and i'd like to attach the error file here but the fourm doesn't allow it for some reason.
2. No.
