I already did a reset of settings, cache etc., but it did not help.

Hi @IanB_360 ,

sorry for not complete following the bug report steps, I'll try again:

Issue: Premiere Pro crashes when opening sequences. Sometimes when opening in source viewer and sometimes opening them "normaly"
Adobe Premiere Pro version number: 25.1 (Build 73)
Operating system: Windows 11 Pro 24H2
System Info: CPU, GPU, RAM, HD:

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 9 285K 3.70 GHz

GPU: Nvidia RTX 4070Ti Super
GPU: 872.16

RAM: 64GB

Hard Drive: external NAS (Avid Nexis pro, 20TB) via 10GB LAN
Video format: XAVC-I 4:2:2 10-bit (UHD and HD)
Workflow details: normal sequences, no specials like FX, plugins etc.
Steps to reproduce - (Very important!): Open project, open sequence A, drag sequence B to source viewer, then the crash occours. Sometimes the crash is not happening directly, then you have to open more sequences (seqnece C, D) in source monitor, or close sequences and reopen them. It seems that it is all about opening sequences and it is kind of random, but the crash happens all the time
Expected result: sequence opens in source monitor
Actual result: crash

It seems that it could have something to do with the external Storage (Nexis pro) an Windows 11, because I cpould not reproduce the crashes with an older machine on Windows 10 and also a local project (prect and mediafiles on a local SSD)

@Florian_Stgt
I have added a link to an issue another user was having that could have been the result of media storage being a NAS storage, https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/premiere-not-utilising-full-network-speed-an...
Have you tried to open a project locally and use media from an external SSD or local device storage? And if so has the same crash happened? Another thing is have you been able to select "Adobe may contact me" in the crash report when it pops up? And if you could let us known what email you used we can look up some of the reports.

Thank you

@IanB_360, yes I could not reproduce the crashes working on a local project, where project files and mediafiles reside on a local SSD drive. But copying only the projectfiles to the local drive and leaving the media files on the network storage, the crashes occour.

Also I think the more complex the sequence is, I try to open on the network storage the more the crashes happen.
