Premiere Pro Crashes when a new version is added to Creative Cloud

This is a weird one. Over the years, I have noticed that random crashes of Premiere Pro seem to correspond to updates in Creative Cloud.

I obviously can't recreate this, but it has happened enough that I an 78% positive there is some connection. I crashed today while exporting in Media Encoder; maybe it's not weird, but PP was in the background. The "Check for issues box" popped up, and I took the bait and clicked on it and suggested I update to the newest version... light bulb goes off because, for the first time, it wasn't recommending the version I already had installed, plus I only updated to the 24.5 a few days ago. I finish my export, post it, send an email to my client explaining why I didn't make all the changes they requested, then head over here and notice that the "Welcome to Premiere Pro 24.6!" post had been made just a few minutes prior.

Coincidence ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm on an iMac Pro

3 GHz 10-Core Intel Xeon W

Radeon Pro Vega 64 16 GB

128 GB 2666 MHz DDR4

Sonoma 14.5

Creative Cloud is set to run in the background and up to date

Why is this valuable to me? I don't like crashing

Do you guys delete your cache files with every update? I always do,  and it keeps things going well. It's now real easy to do, just hold down shift while you start PP, you'll get a dialog to help out.

Yes, I frequently delete cache files. I move between systems and share a lot of projects. I typically delete cache and render files before opening a project that was last worked on in a different system.

Didn't know about the short cut, I'll be using that from now on.
