primier pro export quality is not good

New Here ,
Nov 27, 2025 Nov 27, 2025

I export the same video on three video editing softwares (primier pro 2025,davinchi 20,capcit desktop) with the same bitrate (15000) it's so bad for me that primier give me pixelated video , but the others was perfect , Just fix the primier pro export engine , if this app gives you bad export quality (pixelation , not clean quality ) primier will lose massive numbers of editors

I'm going to tell export settings

full hd (1920*1080p)60 FPS (game recorded by Nvidia shadow play rtx 3050 , 30000 bitrate 60 fps)

hw encoding h264 (pixelated )

level(high)(4.2)

bitrate(15000)

vbr 1 pass (as always it's pixelated)

I tested vbr 2pass and CBR , both don't give me good quality

(just fix it in 2026 update )it's really awful

thanks for reading

I haven't a clue what issue you're having, it would be either a sequence or export setting.

You make the usual mistaken assumption that because something is off in your system, it's bad for all other users. Normally this is not the case. And the vast majority of users are exporting fine as-is.

So ... screengrabs of your Sequence settings dialog, and of the Export dialog showing all things 'open' ... drag/drop onto your text reply area, and we can get this sorted.

Sorry, this is not a fix, I agree it not the best! I choose to export ProRes4444 or DNxHR/XAVC/GoPro cineform 10 (any other non-destructive codex) I then use third part encoders; on a Mac I use Apple Compressor. Adobe really should start prioritising its core features like exporting, over more buzz features like AI.

  • Try some presets if you are using H264, like "Youtube"
  • Boosting color depth from 8bit to 10bit, or 12bit, (codex dependant)
  • Changing the VBR Bitrate, and key frame distance.
  • H264 is not good use H265 (HEVC)
or try some of the new formats like AV1 or VP9. (Opensource tool FFmpeg)
  • Adding film grain can also make the encoder work harder to keep your visuals from becoming blury blocks.
  • There are lots of encoding guides out there, but it should be easier to get nice reults out of Adobe!

Cheers
Mike
