"No Clip Selected" in Effects Panel When a clip is selected

It's hard to pin down exactly when or why this happens. What should happen is when a clip in the timeline is selected, it automatically shows in the effect controls panel where you can adjust its parameters.  Instead, I'll either manually click on a clip (or itll be automatically selected from the playhead) and in the effects panel, it says "no clip selected" and no effects controls are shown. In some cases, I can just click off and back on the clip and then it will appear in the effects panel and I can use it. In other times, I attempt to adjust a parameter and it disappears when I click. Or it might not even show up at all. Sometimes restarting Premiere works.

Hi @micky_darko,

What kind of clips are you working with? Do you have multi-cam enabled or proxies attached? Does this happen with clips that already have effects applied, or certain effect parameters already changed? Have you noticed this when you are clicking inside the timeline panel or within the Effects panel itself?

It sounds like it's not happening consistently, rather randomly, but if you are able to catch this happening in a screen recording, that could be very helpful for us to look at.

Hope we can help you soon,
Dani
