In the last four months I encounter bad frames while editing 4K video - see the attached sample of good and bad frames. Those fuzzy frames appear randomly and sometimes also diappear. Some also appear in the final exported MP4 video. Sometimes they are overlay of two images one on top of the other.

APP: Premiere Pro Ver 25.1.0 (Build 73)

O/S - Windows 10

Editing 4K video sony .MXF file in HD sequence 29.97 frames/second 1920x1080

Display adaptor: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor 3.59 GHz

RAM: 32 GB

Any suggestions?

You can check,

is it always on the same timecode?

is this also visible in VLC player in that clip?

Did you clear your Mediacache folder from within explorer?

(you have to do this at you default location C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common  and at the location set in prefs)

Did you try with File>Projctsettings>general   renderer Mercury engine software only?
