Sequence Start time not changing in latest version of Premiere 2024

I am trying to export a sequence with burned in timecode.  I had to change my sequence start time code to the appropriate start time.  When I export with a timecode overlay I noticed the timecode did not mach the timecode of my sequence.  I could not figure out where Premiere was getting this random start time from.  I looked in my Project panel and noticed that for the Sequence clip in the panel it listed a different start time under "Media Start."  That is what the timecode generator was pulling from.  I cannot figure out how to change the Media Start time to reflect the Sequence start time in my timeline.

I then opened up an older project in Premeire 2023.  I changed the sequence timecode and noticed that (as expected) the Media Start time changed to accurately reflect the sequence time.

Something weird happened in the 2024 update.

Where are you getting the Timecode from, in the Export settings?

Try the newish: Metadata & Timecode Burn-in, effect on an adjustment layer
