SERIOUS ERROR IN PREMIERE PRO

New Here ,
Apr 17, 2025 Apr 17, 2025

I practically lost my project.

In short, I was editing a video (short and relatively simple), but at a certain point, I could no longer import files by simply dragging them into Premiere, and I had to use the shortcut "CTRL + I". Ok.

However, a few minutes after that, I lost access to 1 of the sequences (there were 2 main sequences, 1/2) and I could no longer use the "save as" button either.

Even with the project saved and having a backup every 3 minutes, I could not open the last 2 auto-saves of this project, only the second-to-last one and much less the original project.

The message that appeared was the one in the print in both cases.

edit.1: I tried to import the project as a folder in a new project, but I got the same message
edit.2: I didn't use any effects in these sequences (everything was done in After Effects and the file was rendered in Premiere *without dynamic link)
edit.3: I've already used "Adobe_Creative_Cloud_Diagnostics_(Beta)" and tried to restart the PC during this process

This worried me, because I have projects that take days to complete and imagine losing access to the project...

Hi @dateKKK,

Sorry for the frustration. We need a few more details to try to help with the issue, like the Premiere Pro version you are working on. Please see, How do I write a bug report?

Where is your project being saved? What kind of files were you trying to import when the issues started to occur and from what location were they being imported?

Have you tried copying your project and opening from a new location? Does it sound similar to this issue here?

Hope we can help you soon,
Dani

Unfortunately, I did change the file location after this error, but it ended up persisting.
