It's hard to find someone that doesn't love the new subtitle editing layer. Okay, not that new anymore, but an amazing upgrade! I just want to say I really appreciate your efforts before I bring out my issue.
I'm not sure if this is a bug or intentional, but it seems like some editing tools don't work on the subtitle layer. The one I'd like to use the most is "Extend next/previous edit to playhead". I use this a lot while editing to avoid using the mouse, and it would be great to be able to use it in the subtitles layer as well. "Select a clip at playhead" could also be useful. "Go to previous/next edit point", the arrow keys, would also be good.
I would expect them to work the same as in the V layers. I'd deactivate all my V layers, activate the C and would hope for them to work just on what's active.
But really being able to extend the trim back and forth quickly with the keyboard would be amazing! My cramping fingers would greatly appreciate not having to click and drag all day to fix these timings 🙂
