Text panel doesn't follow active Source panel

I have my Source panel active, yet the Text (Transcript) panel stays active for the Sequence, not the Source file.  Therefore, I'm unable to perform a text search within the audio in the Source file (which is an mp3 file).

Hi @pp-editor

Thank you for reporting a problem. If you close and re-open the Text panel and double-click on the source clip, are you able to see it then and is the .mp3 file already transcribed?

Is this happening with other files or in other projects?

Sorry for the frustration,

Dani

Check in the bottom left of the Text panel. There's a checkbox "Follow active monitor". Turn this on to have the Text panel automatically switch it's focus between Source and Program monitors as you work. If you leave it off, the button in the corner can manually switch between Source/Program.
