working on a mac.  In almost every other program, if I try and eject an external drive that the program is accessing, The Mac OS warns me that a program is using it...  But with Premiere, I don't get a warning....  It just ejects the drive and then I get a premiere pop--up telling me all sorts of material has gone offline.  Not a big deal, but wondering whether this is happening on purpose...  I often keep Premiere up and running even when I've stopped working on a project in case the client calls with changes and before I stop working for the day (or night as the case may be), I'll eject all external drives...    so this happens more often than it should...  in my opinion...    But gotta say, if I save the premiere project with the material offline and then remount the drive, and then relaunch Premiere and open the project, all the media is online (at least so far)...
