Heya guys! Just got an update from my Adobe Premiere Pro last week and I updated it. I was currently working on a project that time but I made sure to exit it first before proceeding to the update on Premiere Pro. After I updated my software, I restarted my computer before I start editing again, however while I was editing on this new update, I frequently get crashes like all the time. My timeline would freeze sometimes and sometimes get a black preview screen and I couldn't even move my premiere then a crash popup report would pop up and the software would crash. Until now.

I've been editing the same way like how I usually do, files arent that big and nothing's have changed ever since.

I tried clearing the media cache and everythying but the crash still persists.

Hoping that I could get a help from this

thanks!

Having exactly the same issue, continually crashes whilst trying to use Premiere Pro. Never had issues to this degree, have tried some of the supposed workarounds but problem persists. Have created a completely fresh project and its made zero difference, making it impossible to work on anything.

Me too, my Mac and Premiere becomes unresponsive, then the curser stops moving, then the computer restarts itself. In the error report it talks about Kernel Panic. It's never been a problem before

Having the same problem too. It crashes so many times, mostly during playback. The playback screen turns black and then the program crashes. I've never have this problem before. My graphic driver is already updated to the latest version. And I also deleted cache files many times. Should I reinstall the previous version of Premiere Pro?

As Adobe has suggested, the solution for my problem is reverting back to older version of graphic driver. Mine is Nvidia Quadro, so I downgraded to version 528.49. And it works fine though it's a little bit slow when working on the project. For those who want to reinstall older version of graphic driver, you can search for older version driver that matches your graphic card on Nvidia website.

Same here. Updated to Version 24.1.1 (Build 2) and suddenly Premiere is crashing all the time. This update needs a warning to other users!

Hey Carlos Miguel5E45!

If there are problems with new versions of Adobe/operating systems/graphics card drivers, in my experience the easiest way to fix the problem is to switch to the previous version.

Hope that helps!
