Premier version: 22.6.2

System: iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019), Mac OS 11.2

A project I have been working on will not open.  When I try I get the error “The project could not be loaded, it may be damaged or contain outdated elements”.

I have tried:

Importing selected sequences into a new project - the project will not open.

Resetting the preferences, clearing caches, reinstalling the PP software, opening the project in a newer version of PP

Turning off various things in preferences such as "timeline/restore open sequences when opening projects"

Opening in an old version of PP

Downgrading the project by editing the XML file

Copying the project to a different disk

Using “Project Repair” from Digital Rebellion Software etc

I had the same problem a few days ago and in that case opened the most recent Auto Save version, then rebuilt my work from that.

It was fine for a few days and now the problem has re occurred.  I can open an autosave version from 10:30 AM but have lost all my work after that point.

I was getting a lot of crashes that seemed to be related to using Eventide Blackhole VST plugin, but that seems to have stabilised before the recent crash.

None of this has worked!
