Video importing with out of sync audio

I was trying to import a .MTS File into my timeline using premiere on my pc at home (windows 10) which used to work flawlessly before. but i think the latest update (24.6.1) broke something. When i import the file the video is behind on the audio only in premiere, when i watch it in any video player it plays fine. I even tried it on my pc at work (windows 10) which results in the same issue. It's a .MTS File shot on a HMC151 with 59.94fps, the rest of the timeline imported fine and have the same file types and fps etc. Hoping this can be fixed as its very annoying.

Hi @noahahaa,

Did @Gioia5E80 solution work for you? If not, have you tried transcoding these files to ProRes LT or similar?

I hope the team or community can help you soon. Sorry for the problem.

Thanks,
Kevin

I am having the same issue.  I'm using a MAc and filming on a Canon Vixia importing a MTS file.  The audio and video is out of sync in my timeline.  Is there a fix for this?

I had to revert back to V23.6.9 and everything works again.  I'll just wait to update till its fixed.

Same issue as everyone else using Premier Pro 24.6.1—audio/video out-of-sync when importing .mts files. Using a 2020 imac running Sonoma 14.6.1. Reverting to Premiere Pro 23.6.9 (and Media Encoder 23.6.9) seems to do the trick.
