Wrong clip in source monitor after double clicking replaced clip on timeline

  1. I have a clip on the timeline and another clip in the source monitor.
  2. I replace the clip on the timeline with the clip in the source monitor by alt-dragging or rightclick > replace > etc
  3. I double click the replaced clip in the timeline to show it in the source monitor, so I can edit the inpoint.
  4. Instead of the replaced clip, the old clip is showing in the source monitor.
  5. Tried double clicking another, non replaced, clip and then the replaced clip again, same effect.
  6. Premiere Pro 2025 on a Mac
