120fps footage - Best way to "process" it?

I have some 120FPS footage going in a 24p timeline.

Is it best to drag the 120FPS footage to the timline and set speed and duration to 40% (or whatever the appropriate setting is... Coffee hasn't kicked in yet)...
Or is it better to select the footage in the bin and select Modify Footage and "interpret footage as 24fps"?

I've seen conflicting YouTube videos on the topic and was curious what some "recognized experts" have to say on the topic.

Speed/Duration, yes!

The older "interpret footage" frame change was supposedly built for when you are dealing more likely with cadence changes in the frames. And is not recommended by any of the Pr team members for other workflows.

Nor by Jarle Leirpoll or any of the other actual experts in say production/broadcast/long-form workflows.
