2080 ti issues with all PP versions with dragging and stalling in finding media

I have seen posts with issues about this gpu and PP not performaing well, with delays in finding and linking assets, and other related issues.  Makes it impossible to do the simpest things. Please advise.

The graphic card does not look for or links assets.

So what are those simple things you are trying to do.

Post comp specs, specify drives, info about media used (not just mp4) and screenshot timeline.

using a variety of clip types does not matter what they are.  issue is with finding them or scrolling through project bin regardless of what they are. other functions not an issue but locating some media to import can be an issue.  posted specs above  will try to get screenshot.  have been using PP daily for over 10 years on another computer

oh and as I am trying to scroll through, the circle goes round and round and the clips/icons get greyed out

i have been using pp daily for over 10 yrs. this is not normal  most of computer is set up for this software  lots of empty space  i see other posts with these issues with this gpu
