23.5 still has performance issues introduced in 23.3

A new version has been released and I am still having performance issues with 8k Red R3D files on Premiere version 23.3-23.5. Version 23.2 still works perfectly with the footage. M1 Macbook pro and a PC are having the same performance hit. I asked other editors to test on their machines and they are seeing the same issues when pushing the performance. I do not beleive it is widespread here on the forums as you do need to be pushing your machine fairly hard and comparing new versions with 23.2 (the last version that did not have this issue).

The only way to really test this is to go back to version 23.2 and push it to the breaking point while still being usable, and then try it in the newer versions. some of my projects from last year will not even open in the new versions but play fine in version 23.2. I know this is probably an issue that isn't going to go away as it was the same version that brought R3D rendering optimazation so i suspect the way the R3D files were handled has been updated but one can have hope. Red Monstro 8k same clip in 6 layers offset to create "trails". Played without jitters in the old version and will not olay at all in the new version. I reverted for the durration of the project. If you want to see the final delivery look up Slipknot Adderall Memories on youtube to get an idea.

I was admittedly pushing the program to the likits but something happened after the update that degrated tye ability to playback.
