I was exporting xmls of my 29.97 fps sequences between Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve but I couldn’t understand why DaVinci interpreted them as 59.94 interlaced, when my sequences in Premiere are set to Progressive Scan. I checked inside the xml files and all of them were exported with the <fielddominance> tag set to ’lower’.
Is this a bug or am I misunderstanding something?
Thank you.
Can we have a copy of the .prproj which you're exporting?
Hi @Valentjrl - Thanks for submitting your bug report. We need a few more details to try to help with the issue.
Please see, How do I write a bug report?
What version of Premiere are you working on? I believe this issue is fixed in the upcoming release version 25.2

Apologies @jamieclarke, I knew I was forgetting something. I am on version 25.1 on macOS 15
Good to know if this is an issue that has already been identified and that is being worked on.
