30+ Separate edited clips on one timeline that i want to batch export

I had a seating where someone chatted into the camera for an hour...  I clipped all the dead air out of inbetween the chatter..  Now i am left with 30+ clips (that are single chunks from the larger file)  that are from 30 seconds to about a minute (on the same timeline / Sequence) that i need to export as their own video file, for "reels" and socal content...

Don't want to:

- Set a in and out and export 30+ times.

- Make 30+ new sequences to drag each clip into.

Thanks!!!!  😃

Any ideas?

To batch export your 30+ edited clips, follow these steps:

  1. Create a new bin in your Project panel.
  2. Drag the 30+ clips from your sequence into this bin. This will automatically create subclips for each edit.
  3. Select all the clips in the bin and switch to the Export tab.
  4. In the Export tab, set the Range to Source In/Out.
  5. Click Send to Media Encoder to batch export the clips.

The only way to do that is to do a full render & replace operation. Select the entire sequence, "render & replace", select your proper codec you want to keep them in, maybe turn off handles or not ... your choice.

Then those will be your exported files.

If you could help me out one more time!

- My normal H264 1080x1920 preset is not an option on that format / preset option to get my mp4

Also i am using a landscape video clip that i reframed to portrait..

I've only used that with DNx and ProRes outputs, for getting a high-Q file. It's been so long since I tried to use that for anything else I didn't know that the options were so limited!

And you can't batch doing subclips either, from a sequence. So I'm stumped at how to go directly to H.264/5 mp4.

There's a plugin that could do it, for a payment for the plugin of course.

So, you didnt really edit anything together? It's just a bunch or clips in the sequence?

It's all edited...  I just dont need them exported all together in one long segment / video...  they are a bunch of short clips in one sequence / timeline, and i need them exported as seperate files..

I've been trying to do this but the premiere export tab doesn't have the "source range" option available if you have more than one clip selected for export. Resulting in all the clips sent to Encoder set to export the entire clip and in Encoder I don't see a way to batch change the source range from "Entire Clip" to "In and out point," so I end up having to do this for every single one of my clips. Which is extremely tedious if you have more than 50 outputs.

The only way to do this with a bit less pain is to make all of them subclips. Then go to the bin, select all the subclips, Export.

Agreed it's a right pain.

The Source Range option should be available, even when exporting multiple sequences or clips with in/out points set. It appears below the preview screen on the left side.
