Say, a phenomenon I've never noticed before: 4K footage in an HD timeline often produces significant peaks below 0 in the waveform monitor (also output via SDI to an external scope). If I turn off the GPU or turn off "High Playback", the scopes look "healthy", so it probably has to do with the sharpness of the footage. I've never noticed before that this is so noticeable in the scopes. But interestingly, if I scale the 4K material back to 100%, the oscillations below 0 disappear but only at 100% - at 99% they are still there.
It's also strange, if I export these clips with the limiter in the export, it looks halfway okay, but if I set the video limiter in the timeline as an effect on a clip, nothing changes - putting it on an adjustement layer it works very well.
Whats wrong? Is this a bug?
