Hi, guys just purchased a high spec PC for video editing as a hobby. I have a gopro 10 and shoot 4k at 30fps. I tried today first time, editing on Adobe premiere, literally added the raw files, added a soundtrack no traditions, just a test, set the export file to h264 , 29. fps and the output seems inadequate, grainy. I even set rendering to Cpu.
any suggestions on what msybe the issue, I want the output match the raw file quality.
thanks in advance.

Does your framesize match the original? And how about the export settings? Unless we know that sort of detail, we're just guessing here.

Some users (I'm one) can't expand the sceenshots. So these are too small to read.
What is the length of the export in minutes?
In the section with "CBR," what number is on that target bitrate line?

Hi Stan
I checked settings from youtube and it appears my Target bitrate was set at 10 default and changed it to 100 and that seems to have done the trick, and you asked that question also.
I have also clicked on use maximum render quality as I have a highs spec PC.
I have also clicked on memory for optimise rendering for memory. What do you think of these settings? is there a way I can make it even better? my pc is top spec so can process this easily.
I only play these files on TV or media players, they are family movies so not for youtube and i would like the best possible quality.
Also can I please ask what settings are best for 1080 videos? does the cbr needs to be 100 again? and what settings can this be upscaled to 4k?
many thanks in advance
