I'm trying to add the motion graphic template to the premiership and modify it, but the background color doesn't change from red.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hey @ting35586993jdhu

It sounds like the expressions used to build the mogrt weren't universalized. The reason the author didn't see an issue is because the language version of After Effects used to create the mogrt was different than the language version you are using, so you seeing broken values.

You can fix this!

  • Download the Expression Universalizer and install it per the instructions.
  • Open the mogrt in After Effects (File -> Open)
  • Go to Window, scroll the the bottom, the Expression Universalizer should be there. Make sure the dropdown is set to Process all comps, and all the boxes are unchecked.
  • Click Universalize Expressions. It should tell you how many expressions were universalized.
  • Head to the Essential Graphics panel, export the project, check in Premiere Pro.

Cheers,

T
