I'll describe what happens:
I click Ctrl+T to add text.
I type what I want it to say with no problem.
I change the scale, position, rotation, or anything of the text, and it works for about a second.
Then, it refuses to be changed further and the frame shakes when you try anything.
It also makes the preview impossible to watch, and if you try to export it like that, it exports a blank screen.
I've cleared my cache, closed out of the program, restarted my laptop (my new laptop handles the program very well) and Googled tirelessly for a solution.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Can you provide us with more info about your system specs: system version, Premiere version, amount of RAM, Hardware specs including graphics card.

Can you try to delete premiere and install it again?

As a last resort, I did just that, but it did not solve the problem unfortunately.
