First thing, Please tell us your system specs: OS version, Premiere version, amount of RAM, Hardware specs including graphics card and your scource properties and sequence settings...    Since it's an audio problem, first troubleshooting step is to go to preferences: audio hardware and change the input to "none."

Since your screen shot seems to indicate a problem with something to do with Aja, do you have an Aja card or external peripheral connected?  If so, I'd reach out to Aja...   What is your audio output device?

System Specs:

- Windows 10 Pro for Workstations (21H2)

- RAM: 64.0 GB (63,7 GB useable)

- NVIDIA RTX A4000

- AJA KONA 3

Premiere: v 23.6

- 1920 x 1080 (1,0)

- 25,00 fps

- Source is the same setting

I already tried to change the input to "none" and that definitely fixed the stuttered playback that was even worse...but still the other playback dropouts are happening...

I also disabled the AJA Kona 3 card and used the Systems Audio as an output (Realtek HD Audio 2nd output)

but there are still dropouts happening randomly for 2-4 sec. ...

You haven't told us your source properties (pixel dimensons, compressor - also called codec).  If your sources are an mpeg format like h264, or avchd, you might want to generate proxies in a format that's more edit friendly... like prores.  Premiere has a great proxy workflow...  post back if you need any help with this.  You might also try selecting your audio clips in the timeline and right click and choose "render and replace."  Not the ideal solution but might get you over the hump.  Doing the post supervision on a very complicated doc shot multicamera in 4K and we were having serious problems being able to do an output...  We could find the problematic clips in the timeline because the audio had no waveforms.  doing a render and replace, created the waveforms and allowed us to do the output...
