I've been using premiere pro for a long time but I never came across this error. This error makes me not use the masking effect for the video.

How to resolve this ?

I tried trashing the preferences. But I got error while using the transform effect.

I made a new project and tried importing but I couldn't see anything in the project window.

Im having the same problem, did you find a solution to this? i've done everything possible but i keep getting that error code only on the project im currently working on. if i open another project or the earliest saved version of the project it works fine but would mean i'd need to start my work from the first clip.
