A very useful tool on Premiere Pro has been randomly removed from me as I kept working

I've been working on a video for months now, which uses dialogue footage I need to cut out. In order for me to time the cuts correctly, something really helpful to me was how navigating across the timeline frame by frame using the step arrows underneath the display of the video, would also play the sound that came out on each specific frame.

However, for some unknown reason, this feature has decided to not work anymore, meaning I have to guess every time I'm making any audio cut.

Does anyone know how to re-enable it?

If you go to Preferences > Audio..., make sure to check "Play audio while scrubbing"
