The easiest approach would be the typewriter preset in After Effects. If you have AE installed you could right click on the text layer in the timeline (if it was created with essential graphics) then choose replace with after effects composition. Save the AE File. Double click on the layer in AE's timeline and select the text layer. Then type typewriter in the Effects and Presets panel. This should cause the typewriter effect to happen. Save the AE file and it should update in Premiere.
