Hello everyone!

I hope someone can help me.

This issue has been bugging me for quiet some time already.

I noticed that whenever I am extracting some files from via WinRAR, the move tool of any of my adobe software (I normally use photoshop and premier) does not work. I cannot move at any files or clips at all.

I tried doing it on a different machine but its the same. Can someone shed light to me on this and on how to address this?

Regards,

Prince

What exactly do you mean? You have files zipped, and within WinRAR, you are dragging them straight to Premiere? Don't do that. They are being unzipped to a temp location then perhaps getting pulled into Premiere from there. Unzip them to an actual directory, then bring them into Premiere.

To clarify, this is what happened:

1. I was working with a project in premier. Typical day.

2. While I am working, I am also extracting files from Winrar to a specific folder in my PC. Totally not related to my work in premier.

TO FURTHER, I AM NOT TRANSFERRING OR DRAGGING ANY WINRAR FILES TO PREMIER.

3. While number 1 and 2 is happening, the move tool of my adobe premier and even photoshop (is not working). I cannot drag or move anything at all while I am extracting via WINRAR.

To clarify again, winrar extraction and premier work is two task I am doing simultaneously as I normally do these things to save time. Extraction typically takes 1-2 hours since these file size typically ranges from 500-700GB.

Looking forward for your response.
