Adobe Premier Pro file not opening

Hi 

I went to open a premier pro file I had been working on the day before and it won't let me open it. A message comes up saying it was saved in a newer version. I am trying to open in the newest version of Premier Pro ( the only one I have had downloaded to my laptop). 

Does anyone know why this is happening as I have only had one version of the app on my laptop.
