Hi Adobe Community,
I've recently updated my MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) OS to MONTEREY, additionally downloading the latest Adobe Premiere 2022.
Every time I open Premiere, it loads up, leading to a crash report.
Further details on model:
Processor 2.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
Memory 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB
Any help be much appreciated!
Thank you,
Keifer

I cleaned up my mac using Clean My Mac but still Pr crashes when on the verge of loading up.
All other apps are operative...
Any further thoughts please Jeff?

Please post a screenshot (Shift+Command+4) of the last Pr screen you see before Pr crashes.

Reference your "low memory" message; have you tried shutting down your Mac and then restarting? That often fixes a lot of mysterious issues for me.
EDIT: I recommend a shutdown, then restart and not just a restart from the Apple menu.
(It seems to work just the opposite of Windows, where a restart flushes out data that is retained during a Windows shutdown.)

Remove your Godrays plugin and try again. It may not be compatible with Pr 2022 or Monterey.

Thanks Jeff,
The shutting down, restaring didn't work
How do I remove Godrays?

If it doesn't come with an uninstaller, navigate to your Pr plugins folder and move the plugin file somewhere else. Once the plugin file is no longer in your plugins folder, repeat the steps I outlined above (holding Opt+Shift while launching Pr and so on) and see if Pr behaves better for you.

Thanks Jeff, the catalogue of plugins only appears in a log file as shown above. What is the deinstallation procedure with this?
