Adobe Premiere Memory Leak

latest premiere version. this keeps happening after opening a project from my mac studio on my mac book pro which is M1 as well. other projects works. premiere stalls when generating peak files and then i have to fiorce quit it or the machine creashes

In your preferences under Audio do you have "generate waveforms automatically during import" checked or not checked?
Do you have any plugins installed?

No Plugins and yes generate on import enabled. However, does this apply
when you open existing projects? I can open other projects fine. Has the
project file corrupted?

I downloaded the beta too, same

And removed premiere altogether, deleted the cache directories etc.

Hi @daniels46548219 - Could be a Project corruption.  Can you try creating a fresh project and then import you clips from your old project into the new one to confirm?
